I loved Dr. Plumlee. She's very good at explaining math in the simplest terms. She takes her time and makes sure everyone is good before advancing on to new material. She is very well-organized and prepared. Also, you get multiple attempts at homework, quizzes, and tests!! Take Plumlee!! She makes the class easy and you will leave having learned a lot!

I really liked Plumlee. She was super nice and a good teacher. She's very good at explaining math!!! There's a lot of homework, an assignment that doesn't take too long that's due the next class. They're online and you can do the homework as many times as u need til u get a 100. Quizzes can be taken over twice, and the tests can be taken as many times as you want too. take plumlee, she's a good teacher

Mrs. Plumlee is one of the best professors you could ever have at Western.
She realizes that the course she teaches is for people who are bad at math. She provides all of her notes in folders on blackboard and only requests that you print them out before class. She projects the exact same notes that you printed off on her white board and goes through them step by step. All you are essentially doing is filling in the blank.
She has some days where you do all of your homework assignments for that section in class, and she is a little notorious for letting people who are on top of their assignments leave early.
She will work with you in every way that she can, provided that you put out effort in her class.
The textbook itself isn't so much needed as the computer disk in the back. Almost everything Mrs. Plumlee does comes from a website called Course Compass, typically ranging around $70 to step up an account with. Having the text book helps if you are person that needs constant repetition and it also saves you from having everyone in the class trying to read from one book.
She explains everything in easy terms and will work with you until you understand it.

Math is a very difficult subject for me but Mrs. Plumlee is an awesome professor and really cares if her students learn. She puts all note outlines on blackboard and you can print them out before class and just fill them in during class. She uses MathXL which means all homework, quizes, and tests are on the computer. You will usually have about 30 minutes to work on homework every class period. You can take the tests as many times as you want and have to make atleast a 70 to go on with new material. If you're bad at math, this is the class to take.

Ms. Plumlee is a very nice person and is willing to help you an anyway. Homework is done on CourseCompass.com and it is harder than what is actually on the test. She puts all the notes on blackboard and you print them off and then she goes over them in class. I HIGHLY recommend her.

If you are bad at math and need a teacher that can get you through the class she is good. I suck at math and I am walking out of the class with an A or B. You will have to study and work but she is a good teacher.

Ms. Plumlee is a wonderful teacher. Math is not my best subject by far, but she makes sure you understand before moving on. She will go above and beyond to make sure you succeed in this class. If you don't like math, take this class.

Math is not my best subject by any means, but I was able to get an A in the class. She knows what she is doing and will help you if you need it. Very fair. However, the classes basically consist of notes for the entire period. Provides plenty of problem examples and uses MathXL software so the homework is done on the computer. For the tests, she gives "practice tests" wich are pretty acurate to the actual tests. Study those and you will be fine.
