Pretty difficult class all in all. Dr. K is very smart and has high expectations for his students so be prepared to work. Did I enjoy this class? Not really. Some of the material is fairly interesting and I did learn a lot, but the workload just gets annoying after a couple weeks. There is a quiz due every Sunday on Blackboard, and if there isnt a quiz for the week, there is some other small assignment due to replace it. Most of the work involves using two or three different concepts or course terms, and you have to be sure to bold each term you use and clearly define them. He usually requires a certain number of words to use in each assignment as well, so you have to submit an "honesty statement" each time you turn something in that shows your word count and that the work you did was all "your own." These little expectations of his get very annoying. Tests are very difficult, and the term paper is pretty tough to write as well. Dr. K is pretty bad about getting stuff back to you as well. We turned our term papers in the week before Thanksgiving and I never got it back. I finally saw the grade posted on BB right before he turned the final grades in, so I had no idea where I stood going into the final because of his lazy attitude towards grading assignments. Have fun!
