Pulsinelli takes a tedious subject like economics and actually makes it interesting. He gives you a topic that you would normally go 'Well, duh' and makes you think about it in a different light, economically. He's interested in what he teaches. The textbook is optional, but you won't need it. He doesn't take attendence, but I suggest you make an attempt to show up each class since what you'll need on the exams will come straight up from class notes. Doesn't hurt that he also has a sense of humor.
