Additional Comments |
This class would be effective if not in a lecture hall with 150+ students. Dr. Wilson has no compassion for students who need assistance, he is egotistical and is completely consumed in his own "humor" that he brings to the class. He is crude and makes jokes about many things; most of his lectures are riddled with profanity. He tries extremely hard to be 'cool'. He is stuck in his glorious college days and refuses to grow up and act his age. I have emailed him two separate times in the semester, he replied to one with not even a complete sentence. He has his favorites (usually the ones who joke with him about beer and girls) and others are basically thrown under the bus. His quizzes contain questions that are not straight from the notes, they are mostly application questions that have multiple possible answers, most often the one that seems the least logical is the one that is correct. In other words, you have to be able to read his mind to get these questions right. If you are taking Econ 202 for your major or if you are just a good student, do not take this class.
