While collectively this is probably the smartest teacher I have ever met, and he expects a great deal from you, I have never here at my time here at Western experienced a teacher quite like Dr.Jack Thacker. He is blunt, though not in a rude way, difficult, but not impossible, a genius, but doesn't tell you about how smart he, or how many publications he has. While Hitler and Nazi Germany is by no means an Easy A, if you have any interest in one of the most tumultuous eras in history then there is no reason to avoid this class. There is one mid-term, term paper and a final, and I can't imagine that any other 400 level history class would be easier. I highly recommend Dr. Thacker.
