Additional Comments |
Dr. Guthrie is a Liberalist so if you don't like that type of teacher don't sign up for her class. There are no exams her writing assignments are your grade. She uses several books to teach you things. She used Kunstler's Long Emergency to give us a start for our first paper. You only have 2 7-10 page papers. A few little assignments like 2 Annotated Bibliographies, 2 Small Powerpoints over fallacies and such in another book Everything's An Argument. The Powerpoints are divided by people in the class and usually she lets you choose which topic you would like. Overall, this class is enjoyable! Guthrie wants you to voice your opinion and views in the class, but you've got to be willing to read and write to get an A. I definetly recommend to take her!
