Reiss makes this class difficult. Overall, the course material is fairly simple, but the way that Reiss grades is awful. If you think you're a good writer coming into this class, Reiss will have you questioning your skills. He does let you re-do your papers if you make less than a "c" and gives extra credit at the end of the course, so those are some positive notes about him. He's an older man that has a voice that makes you want to fall asleep in every class. I would not recommend Reiss to anyone that is taking Eng 200.
