Ms. Rastoder is a good teacher. She cares for her students. It is an easy class. She is kind of scrambled but she is still good at her job. I didn't really know how to study for the test but still did well. Highly recommended!

I took this as a night class and not once did we actually finish what was planned on the syllabus for that night. Ms. Rastoder thought it was more important to spend class time defining drama, fiction, and poetry terms than actually discussing the NUMEROUS stories she had us read during the week. I learned absolutely nothing in this class. Professor Rastoder was terrible at time management! She never got our tests or papers back in a timely manner- probably because she was taking classes at WKU herself to get her high school teaching certificate. ...Which leads me to the fact that her laziness resulted in the class teaching the Poetry section instead of her. She sprang a last minute, poem presentation on us with two weeks to go in the semester! The class is a fairly easy A, but don't bother! It's not worth it! --Oh, and don't think you'll get out even a minute early!!

First of all, if you are considering this course CLEP out if you can. However, if you do decide to take this course NEVER for the love of all that is holy take this professor! I have never before encountered a professor who could care less about what the syllabus states. FYI more than likely if you decide to take her, you won't get through half of the material on it, because she feels the need to talk and have everyone else talk so much about what they feel the literature is trying to get across. If you want to learn about literature I suggest not signing up with a professor who has decided to half-ass her course due to lack of dedication.

This is a class for people who love group discussions! In fact that is all we did in her class is discuss the reading, talk about the reading, was there some hidden meaning within the authors words?! It was the definition of overkill. Her class made me never want to take another english class ever. It is the class that I dreaded coming to during my week. NEVER take her classes!

This class is super easy. You have one exam at the beginning of the semester over grammar and that is it. Ms. Rastoder does stress attendance and participation and is known for docking points for those who dont participate. You write 5 essays which i think she grades pretty easily. She also holds student-teacher conferences to go over your piece one on one so when you dont have a conference then no class. I would definately take this class.

I enjoyed this class. It starts off slow as she introduces grammer and punctuation, but after you begin writing it all improves. The main focus is on your portfolio, which counts for 60% of your grade. She will help you in any way that she can. She's very skilled in her field.

I did not enjoy this class at all. You read multiple stories and take an overkill of notes daily. You will never be let out early and falling asleep in class will probably be what you look foward to. The tests are a killer too, so study. She takes role everyday and will drop you from the role after 4 absences. I do not recomend her at all.
