I have had Dr. Hanley for eight history classes and have never made below a C in any of her classes. She is very intelligent and knowledgable about every topic we have covered in her classes. Not one time have I felt overwhelmed or behind in one of her classes. There is a lot of reading, but it is history, and how else are you going to learn about history if you don't read? Dr. Hanley takes time to get to know her students, if her students will allow her to. She doesn't play favorites, and truly cares about each and every one of her students. I encourage you to take Dr. Hanley, but, be prepared to read and participate in class. You will learn alot!!!! I am baffled by the reviews of Dr. Hanley. She teaches at a college level and won't just give you an A, you have to earn it!!
