Additional Comments
Dr. Lile is certainly not the most spirited professor I have ever had. In fact, his style of repetition of textbook material across multiple lectures adds nothing and becomes extremely tedious after he explicitly tells you to read the book outside of class. However, both Dr. Lile and many people I have talked to seem to think his course is difficult. I could not disagree more. Either reading the book or attending his lectures should make his tests easy especially if one uses and understands the study guides (which contain some actual test questions).

His tangents (which were often as related to pop-culture as economics and could not conceivably appear on a test) and countless (ridiculous) reminders that we would need to work very hard to understand the material were the few entertaining elements that kept me from skipping his class most of the semester. I'll end on the note that Dr. Lile is truly committed to the students and the university, frequently extolling the qualities of WKU in examples in his lectures.

Pros: Easy if you can read a textbook or take notes from a lecture
Cons: Lectures make economics boring
