Additional Comments |
Mrs. Plumlee is one of the best professors you could ever have at Western.
She realizes that the course she teaches is for people who are bad at math. She provides all of her notes in folders on blackboard and only requests that you print them out before class. She projects the exact same notes that you printed off on her white board and goes through them step by step. All you are essentially doing is filling in the blank.
She has some days where you do all of your homework assignments for that section in class, and she is a little notorious for letting people who are on top of their assignments leave early.
She will work with you in every way that she can, provided that you put out effort in her class.
The textbook itself isn't so much needed as the computer disk in the back. Almost everything Mrs. Plumlee does comes from a website called Course Compass, typically ranging around $70 to step up an account with. Having the text book helps if you are person that needs constant repetition and it also saves you from having everyone in the class trying to read from one book.
She explains everything in easy terms and will work with you until you understand it.
