Additional Comments |
Dr. Crawford is a great teacher and has an awesome sense of humor. Although he doesn't technically take attendance, he gives 5 point clicker quizzes at the beginning of every class. If you attend most of the classes and do reasonably well on the quizzes, you get extra credit because he gives more than 100 points worth of quizzes over the semester. There's also a seminar you can attend to get more extra credit if you need it. The secret to doing well on the exams is to find the recent old exams. He will give you practice ones from 10+ years ago and they're ok, but the exams he gives are EXACTLY like the more recent old exams, which are out there if you ask around. If you can get a hold of these and study them there's absolutely no excuse not to make high A's on his exams. By the end of the semester, I basically only had to make a high F on the final to keep my A in this class. Useful class, great professor, highly recommended.
