Additional Comments |
The course itself is fairly easy. If you come into class late, he doesn't shy away from letting you know he's angry. Buy all the scantrons (5) before the tests because he frets over people not having one. He'll call you out on things that displease him as well. No drinks, phones, etc. allowed. Laptops ARE allowed, and he walks behind you just to make sure you're taking notes. The book is required, tests come from the music you listen to on the cd's, and he uses the book in class as well. Extra credit is given when you attend musical concerts (previously approved by him). You have to write a one page paper on what you thought about the performance, and turn it in to him (maybe at the end of the year, I'm unsure). All things are graded by his secretary at the church he works at. You listen to the cd's before each test and he plays them and you choose what composer/work the song is. Overall he is an okay professor, but he has an attitude and gets frustrated easily.
