Dr. Phillips is a pretty nice guy but is one of those old fashioned professors that isnt very helpful outside the classroom and doesnt take excuses. He does not take attendance, which is very odd for a Western Civ class. If you go to class you dont need to read the textbook. You have 3 exams and 1 paper, the exams are 29 multiple choice and 1 Essay, and theyre pretty easy. I am a History major and compared to my 119 class, this was very easy. If you dont mind his sometimes sour attitude i would take this class
