Additional Comments |
I've never withdrew from a course before but for this teacher I had to make an exception. While she may SEEM to be a nice and a down-to-earth teacher, she is not what she portrays.
She does not like to to to know her students very well, especially when it comes to grading. This class composes of 2 teachers who switch off grading your work and she definitely grades your work more harshly than needed. And be careful not to be too smart-- or your academic integrity will be threatened. She accused my of plagiarizing a concept for a take-home midterm because it sounded too scholarly for a dumb student to write. As I mentioned before, she does not want to get to know students and will never know your sense of writing style. And on top of that, she couldn't prove that there was plagiarism! It took going to the department head to get the grade changed but the damage was done.
Do not assume that POP 101 is an easy class. It isn't. Not for a long shot!
If you can, never take this class, especially when Dr. Yambor is teaching it.
