I cannot recommend Dr. Goble strongly enough. She is a wonderful teacher. The course material can be difficult at times. I feel that anyone who has a basic understanding of trig, comes to class and takes notes, does the homework, and studies a few hours before each test can make an A. The homework is required. I rarely read the book because of how comprehensive her lecture was, however the book is required because there is a homework assignment out of it every other class. This is an ITV course, so she is actually at UK teaching, but she could not work harder to help us at WKU learn. I didn't do very well on the first test, but then got my act together and got two 100's and a 99, and had a 98% average on my homework. All I had to do for that was come to class, and 5 or 6 hours weekly on assignments, good to go.
