Mr. Dennis is one of the best instructors Western has. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He is very easy to talk to and one of the most honest instructors you will have. He tells you like it is. If you need help with anything he is willing to do whatever he can to assist you in the class. Go to class, pay attention and you will get an A. The lab part of this class is very hands on. You will get dirty. ;-)

Fun Fun Class.....Mr. Dennis is Awesome. Make sure you attend every class session or you will miss something that you can't make up later. Do your write ups as you go along because you will be required to submit a portfolio of your work at the end of the semester. Take multiple photos of your design and print them out ASAP, so if they are not great photos you can retake them. Don't wait until the end to print or develop your photos. Make sure your photos are of good quality or you will regret it when you go to put them in your portfolio.

This is the best class i've taken yet!!!! This basic floral design class is AWESOME!!!!!! The final is a journal of everything you've made in class, all you have to do is type it up and take pics of the designs you make and compile them. Super easy if you have any form of artistic ability!

This is an easy class but Dennis sucks. He is a horticulture/flower guy and needs to stay there. I understand he no longer teachers rural sociology and I know why. He uses his own stuff but then uses Coffey's tests. The tests are not accurate with the material and he hates freshman so watch out. Take Coffey for this class cause he makes up the material and knows what he is doing. I only took Dennis cause it worked out in my schedule. But take my advice, Coffey is your man even if he does make you work a little harder.
