Additional Comments
This course focuses on investing in mutual funds, chiefly index funds. There are some overall investing principles that are covered. If you are looking for a course on how to pick stocks, this isn't it.

Dr. Wolfe knows the subject well and does a good job with the lectures. He does repeat some of the same stories throughout the semester, but it's not too bad.

The books required for the course aren't textbooks, so they are much cheaper than for other courses. He does require a student subscription to the Wall Street Journal which is around $35. If that's too much for you, I recommend splitting the cost with someone else. You only need it to read articles that he covers on quizzes and exams.

The quizzes and exams do cover a lot of material. Keep up with the reading and set aside time to study.

Regardless of your future profession, this course will be of great help in investing your future earnings. I have done some investing in the past and learned a lot.
