Long lab but good recipes to make. Lecture is a bit boring but she loves her job so she is good to listen to. I have to take her more in the future. Look forward to it.

Chef Lee is great. The tests are really easy. The menu project was a little difficult, but just because it was a very large project. Yes, she takes attendance every day and gives you points when you are there. I missed class a lot, like 2 out of 3 days I was not there, and I still ended up with a B.

I took her class online during the summer term. She gives you study guides, power points, links to prep test and multiple options for extra credit. The quiz are out of the chaper reading material and you have the ability to take them multiple times. On line project and activities to complete but follow the direction and it is easy to complete. 4 exams of campus which you schedule at the testing center within a 2 week window of time for each exam. Lots of reading but it is easy to pass.

Julie Lee was a great professor. Her class was really easy; if you study at all you should receive an A. She also offers a lot of extra credit. I highly recommend her.

This class has sooooo many bonus points it's ridiculous! You get points for being there everyday basically and every test has 5 built in bonus questions. There are also a few extra credit assignments. Getting an A in this class is cake. She goes through the powerpoint and, instead of taking notes I recommend just filling in the study guide she gives you ahead of time. Tests are sooo easy, questions are simple and straight forward. And generally, the class is interesting. I would recommond Lee to anyone.

Chef Lee is a very good teacher. She is incredibly knowledgable because she is very qualified. The labs are required and you get 30 points for attending. There are measurement quizzes every Monday but study for them and they are easy. Every class you go over a powerpoint that is available online. Most people skipped Wednesday classes. You do have to study for the midterm and final because they are a little difficult. There are a couple out of class assignments but nothing too difficult. I would recommend her because she calls this class an "easy A".

Chef Lee is a great professor while having her in class. She doesn't care to help you out in anyway she can. BUT once you get out of her class, you basically DON'T exist to her. When seeing her in the hallway or having to go into her classroom to ask her for something she is hateful and acts like she has no idea who you are and she could honestly care less. If it was possible to keep her for every class for all your college career you might get and stay on good standings with her. But for taking classes with her, she's great... just don't try to talk to her once your out.

I absolutely loved this professor! She is very easy to understand. Every day when you go into class you know what to expect. All of her notes are done over power point and she offers study guides that you can print out that go right along with the presentation. These study guides are what I studied from and they helped a lot. Her tests are all multiple choice and matching and she always offers extra credit questions. The final is not actually a final, but just considered as the "last test" of the semester. There are a bunch of little assignments, such as internet assignments and vocabulary tests, that help maintain your grade. Overall, I think this class was very easy. Attendance is not mandatory, but she does call out roll every class and even sometimes gives extra credit if you come on Fridays.

You will have a measurements quiz every week (how many tsp. in a Tbsp., etc.). You HAVE to learn those measurements. That, however, is not hard. In the accompanying lab, Chef Lee can be hateful. It is best to not ask questions unless you absolutely have to. I didn't enjoy this class, and especially not the lab. It is not necessary for teachers to have attitudes with their students.

VERY EASY CLASS. VERY NICE TEACHER.
All assignments besides the Tests are on Blackboard.
Attendance is not required. Perfect attendance however, boosts a borderline grade up.
She gives out SO much Extra Credit, its impossible not to get an A.

One of my friends told me to take Mrs. Lee and it is one of the easiest classes I have had in college. She posts all of her notes on Blackboard and the test comes straight from them and the practice quizes online. She offers extra credit and curves the test scores. I am getting ready to complete this course and I have a 98%. If you have to take Human Nutrition I suggest taking Mrs. Lee.

I loved Prof. Lee. Nutrition has probably been my favorite class and I'm up to almost 50 hours now. People have said she speaks monotone...not true...people have said she doesn't make the class interesting...also not true!
Proffessor Lee is a joyful and extremely intelligent person and I respect her as a professor very much.

Contrary to the other comment I enjoyed this class! And Yes you do need to attend class, that is probably the reason the other person failed! but that is their own stupidity. I like the class and think she teaches it well and makes a very boring subject as easy as possible!

I would say that this class was very easy. She curved all of the quizzes and the tests. there was a journal entry and internet assignments but they didn't take long at all and she was a good teacher. she gave extra credit assignments and extra credit for attendance sometimes. i would take her again, she posts everything up on blackboard and you can do all of the assignments ahead of time. the only thing you need the book for is the vocab test which are also posted up and you can do them at anytime. the notes are posted and so are the study guides. take her, she lays the whole class out for you!!!!

Ms. Lee is a wonderful teacher. She grades super easy, she gives out tons of extra credit on the tests, and she curves the tests too. The tests are a little on the difficult side, but as long as you study, you'll do fine since she does grade on the curve. Even if you do poorly on the tests, there are lots of other easy little assignments that cushion your grade a lot. She is a great professor.

Julie Lee is a really nice lady. She posts all of her powerpoints online and all of the assignments are online too. You can take the vocab quizzes online as many times as you want to get a perfect score. The tests are too hard if you just review the powerpoints and she gives pretty good curves on all of them. I would suggest taking her for Nutrition.

This class SHOULD be easy. But, it is definately not. She makes it hard. The notes are overkill and all she does is read the slides during class. So you don't even have to go to class because she puts the slides online. The tests are over random things. The only reason I got an A is because I worked my butt off and she gave us quizzes that we could take online to raise our grades when she saw we were doing really bad. It is extremely boring! Granted, it was her first semester, so I'm sure she has learned from her mistakes, but still.....I would not take this class......

I took this class as a J-Term so she might teach it a bit different during a regular semester. She is a super nice lady and really knows her stuff about Nutrition because she is a Registered Dietitian. She tends to tell many stories in class to keep the attention span, because at times, it can become boring. But other than that, there are vocab quizzes to be completed on blackboard and you can take them as many times as you want...there are 4 test, And as long as you review the notes and know them pretty well, then you will do fine (you really don't have to read the book). There are only 25/100 questions on the Final that are cumlative..so it's pretty easy! She CURVES every test!! It's an Easy A as long as you put a little effort into it!!

This was supposively her first year teaching so I shouldn't hate on her that much. But, this was the most difficult class I had to ever take. NO enthusiasm, read straight from the screen of notes, and didn't know exactly how to teach. The test she wrote were really confusing and didn't know how to write them. It wasn't just me who didn't understand them....the class average said everything about her test. The average was usually an F.

The class is boring, but Ms. Lee is very interesting...despite what others may say. I recommend this teacher for anyone who needs it. It's easy if you put a tiny bit of effort into it.

This teacher did a very poor job of keeping her class awake!! She is not very interesting and speaks very monotone. I'm not exactly sure what made her class so terrible but we had a substitute come in one day when she couldnt be there and that was the ONLY day I learned anything!!
Don't get me wrong, she is a very nice woman but she doesn't know how to make her subject interesting. And with a class about Nutrition it needs to be made interesting.
I would not recommend taking her class if you are not completely fascinated with Nutrition.

Ms. Lee is a wonderful teacher. She is always there to help you out. At the beginning of the class she said there wouldn't be any extra credit, not true! There was tons of extra credit!! You need to come to class just because you get a grade for attendance. All her notes are posted on blackboard in powerpoint form. You don't have to read the chapters to do well but it makes things effortless if you do. Take her if you can!
