Do not take this man! He doesn't give a rat's butt about his students! He just cares about the students who know what they are doing. It is all up to you. Doesn't matter how hard you work he still doesn't care. GOOD LUCK with him! Oh and you can't understand a thing the man says!

Dr. Gishe is a decent teacher. His tests are horrible and he's really not into partial credit. First class I have ever failed. At first he seems like he would be open to talk to if you have questions. Later on in the term, he starts to make you feel... well, stupid for asking. Take another teacher!

Good teacher, but the tests are rough. Mandatory to study nightly in this class. He gives 8 assignments and drops 2 of them. He gives four tests and a final and drops the lowest test grade, but you keep the final grade. If you don't want to study, or procrastinate about studying, I suggest another professor. As I said though, great at explaining concepts and available to meet anytime in his office for help.

Dr. Gishe, like most WKU math professors has an accent that takes about a week to get used to. After that, do the homework assignments that he gives every other week for a grade and study for the tests. If you do this you should do fine. If youget behind like I did, Gishe will help you prepare to do well and is concerned with his students grades.

DO NOT TAKE GISHE!!!! I have never went into a college course and gotten so lost. He expects you to know the material before he even teaches it to you. And he is so hard to understand.

If you take him, prepare to do homework. If you do all the homework, you will do well in the class. Also, don't miss class, you will get behind. He is very fair when it comes to grading and makes himself available during office hours to answer questions.
