Mr. Cobb makes class fun, he has a passion for what he teaches, and you can tell. You'll write several papers in this class, but after you take his course, you will be a much better writer. He grades them difficultly, but you learn not to use "to be" verbs or passive sentences. He's a great teacher, and if you are willing to try, and willing to make yourself a better writer, take his class.

Jack loves English, he has a passion for it. He's a published author as well. This class has a lot of reading, but he makes it fun with class discussions. I took him for 100 & 200..I recommend him to anyone. Take this class!!

Jackie Cobb is an amazing teacher. He is funny and brings lots of humor into an ordinary English course. There were no exams in the class, only 5 papers. He really wants you to learn, so he grades paper a little on the harsh side. I'm in his English 200 now and its awesome. Overall he is great and I would recommend him to anyone taking English 100 or 200.

Probably the best English class I have taken.. You don't have to go most of the time.. but you still learn things.. there is reading but its not required.. there are alot of group discussions and the papers are like any other class.. at least 3. I highly recommend him as a professor

professor cobb is new but willing to go the extra mile and help anybody with anything i took his class sight unseen came in on a sunday to help with a paper and is willing to help anybody just be careful of be verbs in his papers though but he is a great person if you want an easy a take him
