Additional Comments |
Dr. Thacker is very knowledgeable, but you will struggle through his lectures. He tends to get off topic with his lectures and rarely returns to the point where he left off. Once you get used to him, it gets a little better though. His exams are hard if your notes aren't good. The books may help, but I did not need them to still get a B. ROTC cadets (such as myself) are required to take this course, so if you are a normal student be prepared to feel somewhat behind when Thacker discusses battle tactics. If you are an ROTC cadet, I suggest waiting until after junior year to take his course.
