Dr. Lemerise is one of the best professors I've ever had. She's funny, knows her stuff, and expresses the subject in a way that makes it interesting and easy to understand. She has a story to illustrate everything, and encourages class discussions. She lets the class decide what we want her to lecture on, and that material is on the test, so you're only tested on the types of material your class is interested in. She gives essay tests without telling you the questions beforehand, but you're allowed to submit questions, and she'll drop hints in class. There's a ton of reading, and the 10-page term paper was something new for me, but she makes it easy to succeed.
