Additional Comments
In Angela Jones' fantasy land, the only thing that matters is her class. Technical Writing is the end-all, beat-all course. If you pass it, you are free to become anything from a rocket scientist to a brain surgeon.

The problem with that is none of this is true.

Not only does Jones' class teach things you should have learned in high school (resume writing, letter formats), but there are several completely different courses in the English department that teach the exact same things that she does.

Her bubbly, flower-child attitude wears thin within seconds of the class starting. Your ability to appreciate her good humor is tempered by the fact that she dumps incredible amounts of work into your lap as though her class was the only obligation you had. For example, she makes you write a ten-page instruction manual on how to build an item out of Legos. And that's not even half of the rubbish you have to fill out in order to make a decent grade on that particular project. What's more, she calls her final project a "Capstone Project". How much hubris do you have to possess to call your objectively worthless class' final project a "CAPSTONE" project?

Exasperating as a class, and does not play well with other advanced courses.
