This was a great class! You learn a great deal about American history and some of the most important shapers of that history. Unlike most history classes, this one is discussion based. It's a welcome change of pace from traditional lecture based classes. The most important part of the class is a written review of a biography. Learning to write a good book review is very important for anyone wishing to have a career in history or another academic field. I highly recommend this class and any other class taught by Dr. James Baker!
