I'm still not quite sure what to think of Dan Myers. I believe he is a cool guy, but not the best teacher. He knows what he's talking about, but his teaching methods aren't very effective. This class was somewhat difficult for me just because I had to rely on teaching myself from the book quite a bit.
However, there are benefits from taking a class with him. He is very easy-going and relaxing. He usually teaches the class barefooted. He lets you bring a sheet of paper to each exam with as much information on it as you can fit. Don't rely on this though. If you don't understand the concepts, it won't be of much use. He also canceled class quite a few times and let us out early at least once a week.
Overall, I'd recommend him, unless you know you are just terrible with numbers and equations. Then you should probably look into someone else who may be able to explain concepts better.
