Any West Civ class is going to be hard. It is a tough subject that requires a lot of reading and note taking. Dr. Harkins does a great job of presenting the lectures and working with you if you have any questions. The tests are straight essay, with some multiple choice map quizzes thrown in. There are 3 papers that you must write as well. I reccomend taking Dr. Harkins because he is willing to sit down and work with you if you are having trouble. You must try to get an A though!
