Additional Comments |
Brian Strow is awesome. I am actually switching my minor to Economics just so I can take more classes with him. He is just a cool guy who also happens to be a fantastic teacher. He makes things very clear to you and usually keeps the class entertained with his attempt at humor.
His tests are a bit difficult, but not too bad as long as you study. Plus, he grades on a curve. He says that you are required to subscribe to the Economist because there are always 2-3 questions from articles he assigns to read on the test. (Except on the final.) I'm going to go ahead and say not to worry about the Economist. Even if you read the articles, sometimes you still miss the questions cause they can be confusing. And missing 2 or 3 multiple choice questions isn't going to hurt you too much. If you take notes and study for the tests, you should easily be able to pull off an A.
A bit of advise...if he gives you handouts: STUDY THEM. Especially on the last test before the final. If you don't know the information on them...you'll be sorry.
