Additional Comments |
It is obvious that Borland really loves Economics, and he really cares about his students. However, I just don't feel he is a very good teacher. He tries to make you understand and is CONSTANTLY asking, "Do you understand?" to various individuals. And if any one person says they are confused about something, he was explain it again. But it usually didn't matter how many times he explained something, because he never made it any clearer.
If you take this class, all I can say is GO TO CLASS. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss even one day, you could be confused for the next five. There are 4 tests and then a cumulative final. All the tests are 20 multiple choice questions. He curves the tests a bit to where you only have to get 17 right to get an A, but trust me...you need that help. Also, beware the 3rd test! It is tricky. Study extra hard for it!
