Professor Phillips is a very nice guy. The class is kind of hard to keep up with because I took at least 2 pages of notes every class session, but he tries to make it as fun as he can while teaching something thats quite boring. He has a very dry sense of humor, and it's something you'll have to get used to. You don't really need to buy the book as long as you keep really good notes! He teaches well and always answers any questions you may have. The only downside is all the notes!
