Additional Comments |
Basically, Dr.Kanan is everything that you could want for in a professor. He's knowledgeable and a good instructor, so you will definitely learn something. He's very kind and will do whatever he can to help you, another plus. He realizes that this class is about sports and makes it easy to obtain a good grade while placing sports into a different perspective.
The class consists of four tests (multiple choice with short, as in one paragraph, essay), four reaction papers (based on online readings, very simple), and one eight page paper on observations from a sporting event that you attended.
The majority of test content is covered thoroughly in class with a few questions coming from the assigned reading. Nothing tricky.
If you are looking for a laid back, interesting class with a great professor. This is the one for you.
