This class was the worst one I have ever taken. This man goes off on so many tangents you have no idea what he is talking about and the notes nor the book help you any test. He has a great grading system, but you have to work for it and you have to do every assignment. I have no idea how I got an A out of this class but I worked really hard to get it.

Dr. Komp...wow...what a joke! This class was absolutely crazy! Everytime that class was held he talked none stop about physics and made extremely stupid jokes all the time. I felt like I learned nothing throughout the entire semester. The tests were not that hard it was all multiple choice and true/false. He gave a whole lot of extra credit though. He was a very laid back guy but insane. I would advise taking his class if you plan on getting an easy grade and not learning much in the process.

Mr. Komp is a good professor. He gives out lots of extra credit and the tests are all multiple choice. He pretty much gives you everything he needs you to know through notes on the board, so you dont really need your book unless you dont understand what he is teaching. You have to do 4-5 labs but are fairly easy. He's fairly funny and likes physics ALOT.

He is a very intelligent man, but this is not the course for him. He does not need to teach this class. He doesn't have a grading scale, so you never know what your grade is going to be until he posts it at the end of the semester.

Dr. Komp gives so much extra credit and leeway to people that don't deserve it that it's actually ridiculous. I know, I know, how in the world can him making things easy be anything but good? Well, he tends to cater to the people who care least about the class, especially the ones who ask the same questions over and over again about the same assignments he's describing in exact detail every single day.
The class feels a bit more difficult after the first exam (the first exam covers the most common-sense stuff in the world ... like the seasons, are you serious?), but it's not hard at all considering he hands the class extra-credit opportunities for the simplest things. Plus, he changes the grading scale so that the grades are evenly distributed -- but only in a way that helps students.
Oh, and if you hate it when people talk in class, you'll be annoyed by his blatant refusal to tell them to be quiet. Apparently that's your job, not his.

THIS CLASS WAS VERY HARD.... HE IS USUALLY A PHYSIC TEACHER SO HE APPLIED EVERYTHING TO PHYSICS. WHICH MADE THE CLASS TEN TIMES HARDER. BUT... THE ONLY THING THAT IS GOOD ABOUT HIS CLASS IS THAT HE HAS A FIXED GRADING SCALE. SO BASICALLY YOU CAN FAIL THE CLASS AS LONG AS YOU DO EVERYTHING THAT IS NEED FOR THE CLASS. FOR THE CLASS... WE HAD 5 LABS AND ONLINE HOMEWORK... THOSE WERE NOT THAT HARD. BUT THE TEST ARE HARD. TAKE HIM...
