First Laura gives a 3 question pop quiz at the beginning of each class, not for a grade though. These give you points for your quiz bank that you can spend on exams. So read before the class meets. Every weekend we had a 10 question blackboard quiz (she drops the two lowest). There are 4 exams with about 45 multiple choice and 10 definitions (but you only need to do 8) and 1 essay question (which you will know in advance). There are also 1-4 bonus questions on each exam. Extra credit project is offered if anyone wants. She will not allow you to play with your phone or have headphones on. Her classes are interesting (never a dull moment). She explains things well, with lots of examples. Write the examples down in your notes. The examples make it easier to recall facts. In my opinion this was the easiest class I have ever taken, but I studied quite a bit. Laura is the professor to take if you are taking psychology or developmental psychology. She tries to scare you at the first class, but don't be scared, it's a breeze. She may seem harsh at first but she isn't at all.

Mrs. Jensson is a wonderful teacher and a really nice person! She goes over and beyond to help, she really cares about your success and will do whatever she can to insure you are successful. Her test do cover a lot but shouldn't be hard if you come to class and take all the notes. It takes a lot of dedication but is very interesting. I really recommend this class, you won't regret it!

I took this class online during the winter term. It was my first of either type. Laura explains everything so well and uses great examples. She is very accessible and more than willing to help. She even has a blog that contains all of her lectures so you can download them anytime. The assignments aren't just busy work either. They helped to reinforce the material which cut down on my study time. She's very interested in your success. I recommend her highly!

i had never had psych and once i had her for 100, i had to take 199! She is so awesome! She doesnt take attendance, but this is one course you wont wanna skip because its so fun. She jokes alot and keeps your attention. I fall asleep in about every class but this one. She is the cutest teacher ever. She doesnt put up with bullcrap but she is so good. She is very easy to talk to and very professional. She relates things so that you remember them and she is young so she relates really well. she will talk about peoples grills (in their mouth) and sex, drugs, and all kind of good stuff. take her and i bet you love it and have a blast in there!

This is one of the best teachers I've had at the South Campus! She is great! She goes "above and beyond" for her students. Any problems, just ask...it doesn't get any better than this! Highly recommended!!!!!!!! I give her an A+

I have absolutely loved having Mrs. Jensson as a teacher this semester! She is so funny and makes learning the material easy! All of her tests come directly from the notes, so make sure that you take good ones! Her final is not cummulative, its just your fourth test! She is one of the best teacher's that i have had and i highly recommend her!

I had never had psychology before and was really worried, but she makes it so much fun and you dont have to have previous knowledge on material. She also keeps the class alert and awake, she makes it fun. She is very funny. Its alot of notes, but any psych class is alot of notes. Test are easy if you just memorize the notes, and pay attention. She is really cool, take her if you are on south campus. couldnt be more professional and cool. she also talks about sexual and funny stuff! get in her class~

Jensson is awesome, I have taken her for 100 & 199. The tests are directly from the notes and if you memorize them you will get an A. She is funny and likes to make you feel like a peer instead of a student. However, she is strict enough to keep the class on task and it doesn't roam all over the place as happens to some nice teachers.
