Additional Comments |
Connie Miller is a friendly person, but she is not a professor. She was only teaching this course because of a shortage on teachers. She taught little kids throughout her career but never college-aged. She didn't find out she was teaching the class until a few days before and only followed the syllabus according to the previous professor who taught the class. You could tell she was clueless and brought in guest speakers or had us teach the chapters every week instead of her teaching them. The whole course is based on a big project that you have to turn in small pieces of throughout the semester and then put it all together in the end. It wouldn't be so bad if she had known what the project was about but she was as clueless as we were. At the end of the semester, she got sick and hospitalized so we didn't even have class at the end when we were finishing up our project. We just hoped for the best. I'm sure with more preparation, she'd be a cool teacher, but she was kind of rude and short with us. I doubt she'll teach anymore classes, but if she does, try not to take her if possible.
