Additional Comments |
This class was a lot different than I thought it was going to be. I am currently still in the class, and just finished taking the second exam for it. Basically, all I do is come into the class and write/type as fast as possible to keep up. She follows a power point that has all of her notes on it, and basically i just try and type or write as fast as possible to get it all down because she doesn't really give you enough time to do it.
For homework, there is a lot of reading. Basically you go through a chapter in 2 classes. Along with reading the students are supposed to come up with discussion topics and lecture topics that she is going to go over in class. She will typically not teach the subject in class if you do not ask her to lecture you, but she might make an exception if she finds it important. Students are also supposed to submit essay questions for the tests. Each test you must right 4 essays in one hour. its a lot of writing, but the topics are pretty broad, so there is a lot to write about..
over all, it definitely wasn't my favorite class. She doesn't make it very interesting, but she really knows her stuff and you will learn a lot of information.
