This class is a cake walk. Your grade is determined by four exams out of five, 10 out of 14 quizzes, a book report, and a project. Sounds like a lot, but it is nothing. The quizzes are true/false and over each chapter. The notes are online so just read those before you take the quiz, maybe skim through the book, use common sense, and you'll do fine. The exams are easy if you study like 30 minutes before the exam and have been paying some attention to what is going on in class. If your happy with your exam grades at the end you do not have to take the final. The book report is pretty easy, the book is short and entertaining read and then you have to summarize the book and link ideas in the book to the text and your own experinces. A good paper may take half an afternoon. The project is a breeze and is a self improvement project in which you write short journals and then a paper on the experience in the end, which is breeze to write. Other than that, there is just showing up to to avoid having your grade lowered.
Kristy is a great instructor. She is fun, easy to understand, and fair. So take the class if you can and have enjoy yourself.

Such an amazing teacher! She makes this class really fun and you learn a lot! There is a 10 question true/false quiz over each chapter but they are super easy. There are four exams and an optional final. You can earn up to 20 extra credit points. The only other homework is a book review that you relate to your life and a behavior modification project. She does require attendance!!! After you miss five days you get 5 points of your final points for each additional day missed. She is a great teacher -- take her!!!

Kristy is great. She's going to let you know at the begining of the class that it is your "stress free" class. I mean it's built around stress managment, what do you expect. you take quizes at the begining of the chapter, but it is so simple. If you have had any psych class...and understood them... before this, you'll be fine without even studying probably. You can print all of her powerpoints off the net so you dont even have to take notes. You have like 2 papers you have to write, pretty simple though, I hate writing papers and it was easy to pop them out. She makes class really fun and interactive. Take her!

Ms. Jones is an interesting and fun professor. I can't say that I learned all that much from her class, as the material itself is super easy and could be taught to middle schoolers, but she did a good job with what she was given. She's understanding and helpful, and I would recommend her for this class.

She is a great professor!! One of my favorites! She makes the class really interesting!! She gives extra credit all the time. There is an essay that is due before every test, but they are really easy. The test questions come word for word from her notes. There is a quiz every day you go in there after you start a new chapter, so you do have to read it. But this is good though, because if you do well, the quizzes really bring your grade up! She drops your lowest one too!

I would recommend Ms. Jones for any psych class she teaches. She puts her notes up on her website so you can print them off before class. She gives little quizzes every day over the chapter, but they're really small and hardly anything to worry about. The tests are very easy because she gives a study guide and also curves the lowest grade up to passing. That usually gave us about 7 free extra credit points on a test. There is also a reflective paper due before every test, but usually it's something like thinking about when you were a child and how that relates to the information in the text book. This class is a cakewalk.

The bottom line is that this class is easy. Basically best three out of four exams are calculated into the grade along with four 10 point papers and quizzes over every chapter. The quizzes are relatively easy just read the Powerpoint notes she puts up on line and you'll be fine and you get to drop a few. The papers are easy as they simply ask you to relate the topics covered in class to yourself. If you're an average writer and spending more than an hour on each paper, you may be spending too much time on it. I never used the book for anything other than the ocassional flat writing surface and to do the papers which require citations from the book(don't worry it's not difficult or in APA style, just internal, and no reference sheet). Attendence doesn't factor into the grade unless it is excessive. Kisty is a good instuctor all round and easy to get along with. If you don't get along with her, then there is sometime wrong with you.

Kristy is so cute... she is a little older than us, so she can deeply relate to her students. It's hard to see her as a professor because she just graduated in 2004. She makes the class fun and its very interactive... I love it!! We do a big behavior modification project and have easy quizzes every class period. The exams are easy and she drops your lowest grade. We just had a test today and I didn't study AT ALL... instead I went camping on the lake..came back and I feel like I made an A. Take her..shes fun, cute, and really sweet...

Kristy was a very enthusiatic and capable instructor. The class was well structured and organized, and her use of an online website for posting assignments and chapter/test overviews/assignments was very helpful. The topics covered in class were interesting, and her upbeat personality and style of teaching made the class enjoyable. Her grading system was more than fair, and the tests and quizzes were based on materials in the book and subjects covered in class.
