Professor Lowe is a great instructor. You have to write 3 papers (1200 words each). He gives you the opportunity to turn in a rough draft the week before it is due so there is no reason not to make an A on each paper. His exams are not too difficult as long as you take notes in class and read the assigned readings. The final not cumulative and is over Drama and Plays. You can watch most of them online (Netflix) or DVD. This helps with remembering the plays. Just make sure they are word for word from the book and not an adaptation of the play. I am not a strong writer but this was not that bad! Would definately Recommend taking him. He is funny and a great guy!

This class obviously requires a lot of reading. He does give a quiz almost every week over the readings, know names he asks for a lot of names and what happens to a specific character. His tests are pretty easy they are just very short essay questions. He reviews well for them. Take notes to study with. He grades very easy on the paper he requires that is only 2 pages. He is funny and very laid back! I would definately take him again and would suggest his class to anyone!

If you don't pass this class with an A you are an idiot. This is the easiest class I have ever taken. It is also the most enjoyable class I have ever taken. J. Lowe is entertaining, fun, and extremely helpful. You have a reading each week and a quiz over that reading. If you just read it, there is no way to miss the questons. He even trusts you to grade your own quizzes. You always get out of class early. It is just wonderful and I do not know one person that didn't like this class and wouldn't take it again.

Mr. Lowe is the best teacher anyone could ever have the pleasure of having as a student. He's really interesting, and funny. He really makes you want to challenge yourself, and no one ever wanted to miss his class. I would take any class he ever offered. There's something about this man, his class is relaxed and fun, but you get something out of it. PICK HIS CLASS!!

Jimmy Lowe is an awesome professor! He is very intersted in teaching this course and it is obvious. He's very passionate about literature and is very knowledgable of it. He will tell you cool stories and act out things to help you better understand the situations of the characters. You have to read a lot, but the class is only once a week so you can wait until the end of the week to read your stories. His tests are very straight forward and he even lets you grade your own quizes. There is one major paper due, and if you turn it in early he will tell you how to correct it to make it better. I would absolutely recommend Lowe for literature, the drive's not too bad and you'll be glad you made the trip!

Mr. Lowe is a wonderful teacher. Class is laid back and relies on discussion. All you have to do is read assignments and occasionally write a small summary/reaction. One report required on a book of your choice. Mr. Lowe could convince me to read any book-he is just that good. Take this class, you won't regret it!
