Mrs. Carey has definitely not missed her calling. She is an awesome teacher. I went into Econ hoping for a C at best and came home with an A. Although she as a teacher doesn't require you to attend class, you will hurt your grade if you don't. She takes the info in your text book and puts it into laymens terms and makes you really identify it to everyday life. She offers bunches of extra credit in order to help those students who do struggle. There are lots of notes in her class, but she is writing it all on the board for us and with us to make sure we get the important stuff. She is an absolutely fair, wonderful teacher, and takes her students progress to heart. Econ is a tough class no matter who your teacher is. Take Cathy Carey and at least have a professor who wants you to succeed and get it.
