Profesora Hopper is a great Spanish teacher. After hearing horror stories about professors that don't speak a word of English the entire semester, her class was a relief! She DOES speak English, and she is very good at getting you involved in class without feeling uncomfortable. I knew some Spanish beforehand, so I thought this class was especially easy. If you go to class everyday and pay attention, you won't have any difficulties, even if you don't know anything. Her tests are very straightforward, and relatively basic. There is a small culture presentation required, but you choose your topic and give it in English. All in all, this class was a great experience.

Professor McClure (now Mrs. Hopper) is a great teacher! I really enjoyed this class! I was nervous about taking Spanish, but she made the class fun and easy. She's really young, so she relates to her students very well. I took this as a bi-term. She lets you do a presentation (in English) that counts a lot, and if you do a decent job, you'll get a 100 on it! You do have to study for this class, but it is not a hard class to make an A in.Just keep up and go to class! I highly recommend her!

mrs. mcclure is a very nice person so don't get me wrong about her attitude, but she has got to be the worst professor i have had scince i started at western. we spent 15 minutes on the spainish alphabet, then went right to puting sentences together. this was supposed to a class for begginers. ohh yes and we had to write a 150 word essay. in spainish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how can you do this when you can't even understand what she does in class!!!!!!!!!
