she's not for everyone, but she changed the way i think about the world. before i took this class, i thought gen ed was a total time suck. one story especially, about a girl who complains about getting a "c" but doesn'ty want to work harder. it was a sly way of getting us out of our usual mindset in a gen ed class, and made me think about why i even came to college in the first place.

At first I thought she was too tough for a gen ed class. But i asked her for help with a paper, she was really good and specific with her help so my writing got better. it's is a tough class, but at lest now i don't make the same stupid mistakes, or at least not as often as before haha.

This teacher would be an amazing english 400 teacher because she apparently knows what she's talking about. But, the problem is that she expects way to much of her students. We wrote 6 papers and this class was supposed to be about literature. Instead of reading and taking tests, we had to read and deeply understand the material which basicly made you make up stuff to write about because you had no idea what she was talking about. The extra credit comes from attendance and participating in class, and if you do miss and do not participate she counts off. The final is a paper which is an extension of one of your older papers. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! Unless you really really really love writing papers and not actually having a normal english 200 class.

Wow! How can I describe this teacher? She is very rude and selfish. She is going for her PHD and thinks that makes her some kind of god. She rarely thinks your writing is up to par, in fact if it doesn't resemble her "example" it's not good enough. You will have to write 5 papers and make one of those into your final. She will make you over analyze everything! It was the most painful experience I will ever encounter. I would not recommend her by any means!

The class itself isn't hard, if you find that you are a good reader and writer. However, if you're not, she certainly let's you know so with her rude comments. I've never had a teacher in my life that was so rude to her students. She acts as if her students are ignorant and that she knows all. And, even if you are a decent reader/writer, she still feels the need to pull you down with her smart aleck mouth and rude comments. Don't take her. You'll regret it. This is by far the worst teacher I've ever had in my life: a true witch.
