Dr. Crawford structures his class so that there are no tests. That may seem like a good thing but really it's not. There are no opportunities to raise your grade this way. You will have maybe 4 programs MAX the whole semester, and your grade will be based on that. Also, the examples he shows in class are not that helpful on the ridiculously difficult assignments he throws at you. He will spend several days going over different examples *i.e. showing them to the class on the projector* and then he will assign a program that seems three times as hard as anything he showed in class. And you'll generally have about a week to figure it out in. Most of what I learned...no, ALL of what I learned in this class I taught myself from looking through the book and
