Dr.Reed was a great professor and I would strongly recommend to any student who is not the best history buff to take his class! He tries to keep class interesting with his stories and occasional jokes, but he does lecture almost every day in class. He puts an outline of his lectures on powerpoint, however what he actually says in class is the information you'll need to regurgitate for the tests. So, take good notes! I also recommend that you outline the chapters and pay attention to the subjects that the book offers a lot of information on---they usually show up on the tests as ID's. The class overall was pretty painless, just don't blow it off, you need to actually show up for class to do well, but Dr. Reed is always willing to help any student if they need it.
