He is French, and is hard to understand at first. You will get used to it though, and he will do anything to get his students to understand the material. There is a quiz at the end of every class over the previous night's homework. As long as you do the homework (easy, only a few problems online) you will do fine on the quizzes. There are no tests. You don't need the book. Overall, a very easy class. Take him.
