I believe that this course is going to be discontinued, but I think that any class with Dr. Leonard would be great! He's very funny and teaches theatre production in a way that I would have never thought. He gives many pointers and tips for directing productions as a community theatre director and as a high school theatre director. It is a shame that this class is being discontinued because he really makes it enjoyable. If you get the chance to take any class with him, I highly recommend it. The tests were easy, he's hilarious, and I learned a great deal about theatre!

Dr. Lenord is a interesting man, but I really enjoyed his class. What I like about his class is the not mandatory final. If you do take it is cumulative. He says if you are satisfied with your grade leading up to the final then you do not have to take the final. He also offers extra credit. He gives you a list of shows you can see and on the next test after the show there are some questions about the show. It is pretty easy to get the extra credit. There is NO BOOK! You can spend like $5 and get the notes for the entire semester, so all you have to do is follow along in class. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Leonard was the funniest and most off the wall teacher i have ever had. He explains theatre in a way that i have never thought of it being taught. He likes to act things out so that you will understand things better. You do not have to buy the book and he sells the notes for the whole semester on the first day of class. The syllabus says that there is an attendance policy but there is not and if you buy the notes then you are fine. The only days that you need to attend are the test days and movie days. There are questions on the test about the movies so it is smart if you attend on those days. There is an ample amount of extra-credit that you are able to do for his class. Dr. Lenonard made theatre an enjoyable class that I for once actually looked foward to going to.

This class was easy. He gives you extra credit if you go to plays other than the ones that are assigned. His tests are fairly simple...just memorize the notes that he gives you. His final is what sucks! It is ver confusing! From what I have heard, he is a lot better than the other teachers that teach that class.
