Prof. Egloff was wonderful! She is hilarious and makes learning French easy and fun! I had her for the bi-term section of 102, and I felt like I learned more in those 7 weeks than I did the entire time I took 101 the semester before. As for studying, I was suggest it. But she makes everything fairly simplistic. There are frequent quizzes that are important, but easy, and the Oral Exam is nothing to really worry about; but still prepare for it.

Dr. Egloff can kind of have an attitude sometimes, but overall is pretty helpful. Quizzes and Tests are decently easy. The only reason I got a B was because I bombed one quiz. She ended up giving me a 50% even though I missed all the questions for the all the effort I put forth. She is understanding towards oral exam as well. Take her!

Egloff is kinda strange, but she's nice and a pretty good teacher. I would recommend her. And her class is pretty easy. We had little quizes almost every day though, but just keep up and you will be fine. Oh and participate in class. And she'll love you.

Mrs. Egloff is a great teacher. This is one of the very fun classes I ever took and I love to go to everyday. She seems tough and serious at first but then she guides you through all of the things she needs you to do. My class is an honor one so there is a quiz for every other classes (but they are very easy and she grades them easily too). She has great reviews for all of the exams, I mean everything she tests on the exam is on the review guides all you have to do is just study that one-page guide. We do have 2 oral exams, but she gives you topic to prepare and basically just do your best and you should be fine. Mrs. Egloff loves everyone in class and i'm sure you'll love her too!

I loved Ms. Egloff's class! She is an awesome teacher, and really cares about her students. It wasn't hard at all to get an 'A'. All I did was show up to most of the classes, take pretty good notes, and study. She makes French really easy to learn!!! TAKE HER!

Ms. Egloff is the best French teacher I've ever had! This course was so easy.. as long as you go to class & pay attention, you'll be fine! She gives quizzes every other class, but they're pretty easy & the tests come DIRECTLY from the quizzes, so it makes the tests so much easier! You also have to do 2 oral exams.. but they only last about 2 minutes, and she tells you what you need to say! I definitely recommend this class & teacher.. I've always struggled in French, but she made it sooo much easier to understand!

Dr. E was very helpful. She made learning a new language very natural. There was at least one quiz a week and one oral exam. It was the easiest foreign language I have ever taken.

this woman never stays on topic in class. she has favorites. and she's horrible at explaining something you don't understand. she barely gives you any of her time. i might learn more if she wasn't so busy talking about shit that doesn't pertain to our class.

Dr. Egloff is a great professor. She is very funny, and has a real enthusiasm for teaching. On the days we (as a class) weren't talking, she'd easily give up on us and let us out 20-25 mins early, which was quite nice. You do need to study for the quizzes, but if you do, both the quizzes and tests are not too difficult. The oral exams aren't bad either if you prepare. Taking them with a partner really helps, and you're not responsible for how well the other person performs. I recommend her!

Dr. Egloff goes at a steady pace and is very helpful. The review at the beginning is a little tough but there are enough quizzes and homework assignments to recover.

this class was pretty easy to me, but for some it may be difficult. it was hard when she tried teaching 5 tenses all at once, and you had nothing to help you study with because she doesn't require a book. it's not very structured; some people like that, some don't. either way, it's a very well laid back class, and Mme. Egloff is a blast! You'll love her.

She was a wonderful teacher, very energetic, and very French! If you are uncertain about your level of French, whether you had it in highschool or not, she makes sure that you understand the material fully. I definatly recommend this class

She is a great teacher to take if you have never had French before. She hardly ever speaks in French so you always know what she is talking about. She really cares about us...she is always worried that we are not getting the material and she makes herself available to help whenever we need it. In her class you have 2 quizes every other week and only 2 oral and written exams the whole semester. She is a wonderful teacher and person!

Dr. Egloff is a wonderful teacher. She is very funny and really knows how to keep your attention. She offers help whenever it's needed anytime. She gives several quizzes but as long as you come to class and study your vocabulary a bit before the quizzes then you will do fine. I definitely think you should take her. She is awesome compared to what I have heard about the other French teachers.

I loved the way Mrs. Egloff taught. She really cares about teaching French, and she lays the subject out plain as day. She has a great rapport with her students and makes sure they're prepared for the next level. Although there are some notes, it's a language class, what would you expect? I would say Mrs. Egloff is one of my favorite teachers I've ever had at WKU.

I loved this class and Dr. Howell!! She goes extremely slow for those who have never had French and she does not speak in French the whole time so you can easily understand her. There are plenty of quizzes and homeworks so it won't hurt your grade if you screw up on one. Just pay attention and come to class and you will do fine!

Dr. Egloff is an awesome prof. I had no French before taking this class. She teaches slowly and encourages questions. She's not one of those foreign language profs that come to class and speak nothing but that language the whole time. If you study, you will do well. There are two quizzes a week. You get to drop one a week. There are two oral exams that are extremely easy--you take them with a partner. I believe there are three other exams (I'm having trouble remembering!). The final is sort of comprehensive, since it is a language class. I strongly advice you to take Dr. Egloff (and when you do, ask her to show you some French music videos--they're hilarious!)

This class would probably be really easy for someone who had French in high school. But since I hadn't, I had to study a little more. The professor was good and fun once you got accustomed to her sense of humor.
