Art 100 is a super easy way to statisify your cat. B general ed. David Jones (it will say Charles Jones on TopNet) is a great teacher! Be warned, the class can drag on a little and be boring, but its worth it. He doesn't make you buy the textbook, all you need is his powerpoints (which he puts on blackboard in advance). I print them off and just take notes on the side, I would suggest this becuase the powerpoint have a lot of picutres on them, (its art) so you need to see them. But his tests are SO easy, he tells you what definations and pictures you need to know and thats all. Great prof. and easy class, recommend to ANYONE!

TAKE THIS CLASS if you need to fulfill this credit! It is very laid back, interesting, and super easy. Just study the names of the artists and paintings and you will get an A. Seriously. Best ever. No paper, just 4 tests. Do it! =)

He is an AMAZING teacher. All you do is print the slides off go to class and listen to him talk. He is funny and trys to make the best of it. He has a review before the test and all you have to do is memorize. It is a very easy gen ed.

This was a good class. Mr Jones makes this class interesting and it really isn't that bad at all. His tests aren't hard at all. He was great and if you take him you will LOVE him.

Mr Jones is a fun teacher. He made the class interesting and easy. The paintings you must identify are all online, and if you study them you will make a good grade. It isn't hard at all. I would absolutely recommend Mr Jones for this class. He is awesome.

If you dont mind driving to glasgow once a week for that easy A that you are guaranteed...then this is the class for you.

I would definately recommend this class. Mr. Jones is laid back and has a great sense of humor. His lectures are interesting and you take very little notes. His tests are not difficult if you study the paintings. You can find them on the internet so you don't need a book. This class requires very little of your time and he always lets class out early.

David Jones is a great teacher. He makes sure you learn something and makes sure to have fun at the same time. This is an ideal ellective to take to keep from overloading yourself.

Mr Jones is very cool...he's down-to-earth and very talented. He makes the class fun & he seems like a friend to his students. I visited his art studio and he is a great artist! He lets you out early every time! I suggest him!

I never truly understood the depths of art and the importance of it in our society...both presently and in history. He made me appreciate the arts and connected me to it....I have had a new-found love and apprecitation of the arts ever since taking this course. He relates it to history and its significance...why it was painted, a background on the artist him/herself and how it reflects the times in which it was painted. I am in my third year of college and I still have found not one proffesor who tops this guy: he's very-well educated on the subject, fun, outgoing and laid back as well...he wants you to succeed and therefore doesn't make anything any harder than it has to be....he tries to simplify things for everyone. I LOVED going to class...and I'd probably take it again! I strongly reccommend this class.
