Additional Comments |
Dr. Baker certainly knows and understand US History, but as a professor he is horrible. He doesnt seem to relate to the students, is very smug, and always thinks he is right. His tests are near impossible, and he doesnt clearly define what he wants us to put on the test. We take down a huge amount of notes, but he doesnt want us to necessarily use the notes for our test which makes no sense. The readings he assing are short and easy, but there are so many pages and I have other classes I need to worry about so therefore I do not have time to go over the book. I dont understand why he thinks he is so much better. Of course, he will never admit it because no one admits their faults. Plus, he is just a boring person and so is his class. I'm a History major and if I hate the subject he is teaching then its quite obviously him. Every other history class I've had has been so much fun, but I hate going to his class. To sum it up, he is a terrible professor who is quite disconnected with the student body, and is too narcissistic to do anything to better himself.
