Katherine Green was my advisor; I have never taken a class with her. However, I wanted to chime in and post an eval.
Don't take Katherine Green as a teacher if you can help it. Maybe you wouldn't mind her as your advisor, but I certainly did. If she is yours (and if you're an undergraduate English major, she probably is), request a change of advisor. join the honors program. Do something that will get a better, more helpful advisor. It's not worth it to waste time with her no matter how nice she may seem.
I initially liked Dr Green b/c she reminded me of my grandmother, but obviously, in matters of college, that's not necessarily a good thing. Honestly, I think my grandmother would do a better job.
Green doesn't know much and refuses to waste her time expanding her knowledge concerning anything her students may need to know. She was actually very detrimental to my completion of my degree program.
If she's your advisor, you need an overkill quantity of notes b/c you'll not get any help from her. You'll have to help yourself, and it'd be best if you knew exactly where you stand before you go and see her. Do your own research as much as you are able and save only the questions you can't answer yourself for her. Not that she'll be able to answer them either.
p.s. ENG 308, Creative Nonfiction, is a class that does not exist, even though it is on her rotating schedule of classes.
