O.K. I graduated two years ago but I still feel the need to post a note here. I graduated with a 3.89 GPA big deal you say well read on. I was not only a student of Mrs.Careys but she was also my academic advisor. Her classes were very poorly constructed and very random, testing was a nightmare to say the least. Keep in mind I took her classes in the spring of 2000 and I still remember them 6 years later. I had a graduation deadline set forth by a my employer, she not only ill advised me in the courses I needed to graduate on time but wasted 9 hours of my time, thats three classes. The experience was so bad that I changed my major and graduated with an entirely different degree. I managed to get As in all of the classes I took of hers but one and the one class I did not get the A in I actually failed now you tell me a person with my GPA and all As in three other classes taking 22 hours suddenly fails a class,where is the problem? If I were a Freshman, hell any student for that matter, I would stay far away from this woman. There are many many great econ profs at Western so find a different route. My wife whom also had her for several classes agrees whole heartedly with me, oh and by the way she has her masters from Western.
