Additional Comments |
Half of class time was usually spent talking about something other than economics, but I'll give him credit: When he's readay to get back on track, he can relate anything back to econ. He does want you to understand and succeed, but sometimes it's frustrating when he explains something to you over and over because he keeps repeating himself, he doesn't find a new way to explain it if you don't understand it. The class itself is VERY boring unless you happen to get off an a fun subject (which can easily happen.) He calls people out by their shirts. If someone was wearing a Henderson Co. t-shirt, he'd say "Anyone from Henderson Co. should know the answer" so beware of that. Don't buy the book, EVERYTHING comes from the notes. Whatever you do, don't fall behind in the class. Don't wait until the end to figure everything out, because you'll be in big trouble. He doesn't review before the final! I found that EXTREMELY frustrating. We had our final test on Thursday, then had to turn around and take our final on Monday! The good thing is his (5) tests are 20 multiple choice questions. If you're not strong in math/econ, I would suggest another professor.
